At 300 mg a day — the amount for a small to medium pet — this pack covers about 33 days.

PEA is tasteless and odourless. Sprinkle it over your pet’s meal.

Give it every day for the full month before you judge it. Supplements of this kind are best assessed over several weeks, not several days, so keep a note of what you are watching before you start.

How much to feed

• Under 5 kg — 50 to 100 mg, once daily
• 5 to 10 kg — 100 to 200 mg, once or twice daily
• 10 to 20 kg — 200 to 400 mg, once or twice daily
• 20 to 35 kg — 400 to 600 mg, twice daily
• Over 35 kg — 600 to 1,200 mg, twice daily

Use the enclosed spoon to measure. Sprinkle the powder over your dog’s food. Introduce any new supplement gradually as part of their normal diet.

If your pet is under veterinary care or on medication, talk to your vet before adding a supplement to their diet.
