WWN started because of an old dog named Albert — and a simple wish to give him the best possible support in his senior years.
How It Started: Albert’s Story
Albert was 13 and showing his age. Slower to get up in the morning. Hesitant at the car door where he used to leap. Happier watching the action than joining in.
We’d accepted it as normal ageing — that’s just what happens to old dogs, right? But we still wanted to do the best we could for him. When we looked into daily nutritional support for senior dogs, we kept coming across palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) — a fatty acid compound dogs’ bodies produce naturally.
The problem: we couldn’t find an Australian micronised PEA product we were happy with. So we sourced our own — pure, micronised, nothing added. Albert became our very first customer, with a daily sprinkle on his dinner.
Friends with older dogs asked what we were feeding him. We started sourcing PEA for them too. That’s how WWN began.
Why WWN Exists
Australia has a lot of ageing dogs and horses, and a lot of owners who want simple, honest, quality nutritional support for them. We created WWN to make quality micronised PEA available to Australian pet owners at a fair price — quality supplements for the pets we love.
What We Sell
We sell micronised palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) for dogs, cats and horses.
Why micronised? Standard PEA has larger particles that are harder to absorb. Micronised PEA is processed into much smaller particles for better absorption. Learn more →
Why powder? It’s more practical than capsules — especially for horses — and it’s tasteless, mixing easily into normal food. It also keeps the price down.
We offer different bag sizes so you can start small and find what suits your animal.
