New Product – Best of the Best Human Supplements For Pets

Thank you to all our clients who have been testing our amazing new super mix products. We are now ready to offer retail packs for everyone.

Here is the story. For decades I have been researching, digging, analysing, and testing supplements. In particular I have been researching the products that are claimed as the leading compounds for humans – and then discovering if they are suitable and effective for our pets.

PEA was the first product. It should be the base supplement for every animal with even a hint of pain or inflammation. It is already a compound that is found then cells of every mammal on the planet – it occurs there naturally. The levels of PEA drop when there has been chronic (just means long lasting) pain or inflammation – and some relief happens when the levels in the body are built back up (often takes a couple of weeks).

The wonderful thing, which is not so great for some test animals, is that dogs, pigs, rats, mice, rabbits and other animals are frequently used for “testing”, before compounds are offered to humans. This applies to supplements as well as pharmaceuticals.

Long story short, I created a short list of what I believe are the most valuable supplements for most pets – with a particular focus on dogs (because I really like dogs).

The top supplements I have included are: NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide), resveratrol, Boswellia Serrata, and two super fibre products Larch Arabinogalactan and Acacia Extract.

The first two are most popular right now with humans because of the potential anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer effects that are being studied. NMN is amazing, and like PEA, natural levels in our bodies can drop as we age. Resveratrol is the compound you may have heard about that is also found in skins of grapes. (Don’t worry, knowing that grapes are not good for dogs in particular – it is clear that this pure version is very safe for dogs.)

The third ingredient called Boswellia Serrata is an ancient herb that outperforms most NSAIDS for pain relief. It reduces inflammation and pain, is safe, and the only downside is that it tastes a little bitter so we won’t put much into our pet recipe. (I have focused at this stage on creating a powder version that can simply be sprinkled on your pet’s food. We can put mixes into capsules, but a powder is better value and easier – providing it tastes ok to your pet!)

The final ingredients are bees knees in natural fibre. There is a mountain of research showing that both of these (Larch and Acacia extracts) are extremely effective in help establishing a very healthy gut flora. Just as with humans – your pet’s gut biome is the major source of the immune system drivers. Your put has a much shorter gut than us human, and only a small amount is needed. The action of each is slightly different so having both is synergetic. This also means that this recipe is great for animals with gut problems (although you obviously need to see your vet, and your vet should guide you on what food you should be giving to your pets, how much, and very importantly WHEN you feed them. (If you are feeding your pet food that is inflammatory, inappropriate (eg lots of cheap grain), wrong fat level – no amount of investment in supplements is going to help much. Same as with humans.)
