A Pet Supplement So Good – Humans Are Now Using It Too…

Ok, it turns out that the excellent results when PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide) is given to dogs, cats and other test animals are being used to help humans with their pain and inflammation. And yes, that was the reason it was tested on (pet) animals first. To see if it was worth testing on people.

And guess what – studies are confirming that PEA does work well on people.

This STUDY in a major technical publication called “CNS & Neurological Disorders Drug Targets” covers the testing of PEA in patients with low back pain including sciatica. They tested two doses (300mg and 600mg per day) – and the higher dose gave better results. (I think these doses are a little low compared to the mg/kg doses given to animal test subjects. At least 10mg/kg seems to the right level.)

But even at these doses statistically significant reductions in pain. 82% of those people taking part in the study reported a greater than 50% decrease in pain within 3 weeks. Of those on the higher dose (600mg/day), 88% said they were now capable of moving about comfortably (they could not before!).

That is great news.

And who do we have to thank? Yes – our test pet subjects.

This data is exactly the reason that I believe PEA is the premium supplement for your old dog (or cat or horse) – or any animal that has pain or inflammation.
