About Us

WWN started because of an old dog named Albert. He was slowing down, struggling to get up, and losing his spark. We found something that helped him. Then we made it available for other pet owners facing the same thing.

How It Started: Albert's Story

Albert the dog playing - after starting PEA supplementation

Albert at 13 years old, back to his playful self after starting PEA

Albert was 13 years old and showing his age. He groaned getting up from his bed. He limped until he warmed up. When we offered him a ride in the car, instead of leaping in like he used to, he'd wait with a sad face hoping for a lift.

We'd accepted this as normal aging. That's just what happens to old dogs, right?

Then we came across research on Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA). Studies showed it helped with pain and inflammation in humans. The dog research showed improvements in osteoarthritic pain, swelling, and even skin conditions. And because PEA is something the body already produces naturally, it's non-toxic with no known side effects.

So Albert became our guinea pig. We gave him the equivalent dose per kilogram that humans use, sprinkled on his food twice a day.

It took about a week to work. And then the change was obvious.

Instead of almost being carried back to the car after walks, he was towing us around like he did as a young dog. He started leaping into the car again. His limping after sleep almost disappeared. He had energy we hadn't seen in years.

Friends with older dogs noticed. They asked what we'd done. So we started sourcing PEA for them too.

Why WWN Exists

There are thousands of dogs and horses dealing with chronic pain, arthritis, and inflammation. Many owners don't realise there are options beyond daily NSAIDs with all their risks.

We created WWN to make quality PEA available to Australian pet owners at a reasonable price. Not because we wanted to start a supplement company, but because we saw what it did for Albert and wanted other animals to have the same chance.

Our goal is simple: help pets live more comfortable lives, especially as they age.

What We Sell

We sell micronized Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) for dogs, cats, and horses.

Why micronized? Standard PEA has poor absorption. Most of it passes through without being absorbed. Micronized PEA uses smaller particle sizes that absorb properly. It's the difference between a product that works and one that doesn't.

Why powder? It's more practical for animals than capsules, especially for horses who need larger doses. The powder is tasteless and mixes easily into food. It also costs less than capsule formulations, and we want to keep this affordable.

We offer different bag sizes so you can start small, see if it works for your animal, and then buy larger quantities to save money.

Our Standards

Quality: We use pharmaceutical-grade micronized PEA. No fillers, no additives, no cutting corners.

Transparency: We tell you exactly what's in the product and how to use it. We're not interested in vague marketing claims.

Honesty: PEA helps many animals, but it won't help every animal. It takes 2-4 weeks to see effects. It works best for chronic conditions, not acute injuries. We'd rather set realistic expectations than overpromise.

Fair pricing: We keep costs as low as we can while maintaining quality. We're not trying to maximise profit. We're trying to help animals.
