0:55-1:13 That guy is clearly demonstrating how to safely unload the
weights off of a barbell when you reach your limit during a bench press and
can no longer lift. And most of these aren’t funny even in the slightest;
these guys have suffered serious injuries. Get a clue, dude.
All things aside, can power lifting meets just learn from their mistakes
and make people do lifts in power racks or with chain support at the
bottom? Good god, why is this a concept that is so expensive that people
don’t want to implement it. Spotters are just not good enough. Period.
i have been bodybuilding and weightlifting for many years now and hardly
had an injury, i put this down to adopting strict techniques and proper
form.Three things i advocate are: One always use collars, two, never lift
more than you are capable off and lastly, if you are going to lift heavy
have a spotter who knows how to spot!! some of the fails shown here were
down to one of the three things i mentioned. Stay safe and keep lifting.
this video is a fail.
0:50 his dead?
0:52 he was actually showing how to do that …. if are have a home bench
and you are stuck and alone so that is not a fail I think
It’s like a horror movie.
You’re in the military and can’t bench 135lb?
They put two times the same video
I wouldn’t count the guy at 2:12 as a failure :L
man, the ppl at 1:15, 3:15….
